It is a challenge to build a greenhouse in some parts of Guatemala. High temperatures, extreme humidity and the risk of hurricanes require a special approach.
Livingstone Ventures, in collaboration with specialized companies, has developed a plan to build a greenhouse near Panzos not far from Bocas del Polochic that can withstand the extreme climate and that is reasonably resistant to the common hurricanes. The planned crops are mainly aimed at sales in North America and should provide employment for the local population.
In addition to building a greenhouse, Livingstone Ventures has developed a plan to grow avocados and mangos in the same area.
