After a successful visit to Kazakhstan, Livingstone Ventures Kazakhstan has decided to start building a GrowLab for Tissue Culture in the Almaty region. The site will be leveled over the next six months and provided with the necessary utilities. On the terrain that is approximately 2 hectares, a building will be erected in which the laboratory will be placed and there will be a plastic tunnel for hardening the plants.
For the time being it is assumed that mainly ornamental trees will be produced. It is being examined whether agreements are possible with local seed potato growers, in particular to start propagating special local varieties.
