Livingstone and some of its partners visited Slovenia from June 18th to 20th for a promotonal mission to companies who are looking for upgrading their vegetable production. Especially Producer Organizations are interested in high-tech Dutch Greenhouse Technology and are looking for experts who can help them to determnie feasibility, profitable and sustainability of their plans.
Livingstone presented posiibilities for plot assessments, business / marketing and operational plans. Because of the attractive possibiities of subventions by the Slovenian gevernment for investments in high-tech greenhouses, the interest for solid plans is immens. The Livingstone approach was already succesful used by a big Slovenian producer organization and can easily be rolled out for other companies. The potential outlets for Slovenian fruit and vegetable growers can increase if new, sustainable Dutch techniques are applied.
